Opened February 2019 as North Shield’s first micropub. There is a square seating area near the entrance with a narrower raised area towards the rear which incorporates the bar, with a small patio area in the backyard. The pub serves 4 changing beers.

Opened December 2018 in a former florist shop on the main street. There is one main room including the bar, with a smaller raised area to the rear. It features four handpumps and four keg taps featuring beers from local breweries.

Micropub and bottle shop in Heaton that opened in 2017. The front room has the bottle shop including a good range of premium bottled beers. Four real ales are served with three real ciders and one perry are also available.

The Lane Head is the first micropub in Ryton, offering the finest local and national real ales and craft lager. Serving two regular and two changing beers. Gin is also available. Two seating areas and lots of glass give a spacious feel.

Situated in the disused former left luggage room of Monkseaton Metro station. A single open plan room has the bar at one end and free-standing seating. The area between the building and the platform fence provides covered outdoor seating until mid-evening. The pub serves six changing cask ales.
